headwound

*ahem*

There is something seriously wrong with the attitude of women in this country when it comes to their wombs.

Or, in cases like this, the wombs of others.

It's amazing how much money will go into invitro fetilization studies and implantations, but "they" make it so difficult to adopt.

And, ladies, I'm sorry to be cold on this point, but if you can't have a baby on your own, there's a reason for that. You go and get yourself implanted and you're likely to have a litter of children, providing it "takes" anyhow. Not every body can do every thing. That's all right. The socially responsible thing for those of you with "a barren womb" to do is to adopt.

Anything else is selfish.

I'm sorry, but that's the truth.

And selfishness leads to stories like this, which is the third such story I've heard in a year ... meaning that every four months a baby is being cut out of a mother's womb so that some other woman can feel "whole."

There is something seriously wrong with that.
