Well, it's out in public now, though the product itself is not yet available. However, SHOCKLINES PRESS is going to be releasing my chapbook, THE JAWS OF ADANA, sometime in September. The cover's being done by by Glenn Chadbourne, and, for this, I am humbled. The volume includes three stories: the title piece, and two new ones -- "Lily," and "A Sense of One's Dying."
I read "Sense ..." this weekend during my slot at the Horrorfind Weekend, and I think it went over pretty well. It was quiet the moment after I finished, and Michael Laimo told me, as he was getting up to do his half of the hour reading, "You are one sick dude." I'll take that, heh heh. So, if you dig uber-sex & violence and fucking downbeat endings, make sure to pick up THE JAWS OF ADANA when I do the formal announcement in a few weeks.
I want to say thanks to Michael for sharing the slot, and tell you folks he's a fine writer in his own right. He's got a sort of neo-Gothic sensibility, and I'm looking forward to getting into more of his work.
