So, I wrote this particular market to get a better idea of the kind of stuff they were looking for, and here I get the MOST FUCKING OBNOXIOUS REPLY. At one point he wrote:

"with [this project] you should be showing the hopelessness of human life (this was spelled out in the GLs quite clearly), the desperation, the sadness, the void."

Now, call me an idiot, but does that seem all that fucking specific to you? Jesus, dude, sorry I wasted your fucking time with a simple question. I'm not a fucking child, there's no reason to get all snitty.

Can't you see him prancing around with the "this was spelled out" line? Man, unreal. What's the fuckin' harm in being even the littlest bit friendly? I know I wrote an upbeat inquiry just trying to get a better handle on what exactly was meant by "the hopelessness of human life".

IDK WTF just happened, but I made a post in reply to an inquiry I made to which I got a really obnoxious response to a very simple question re: a certain market's guidelines and my post just glitched-out and disappeared.

Maybe I should take it as a sign that i shouldn't be spitting on the hands that potentially feed me.

Even still ... DUDE, it doesn't hurt to be chipper.

First of all, there's a poll asking the question: "Has this hurricane season raised your awareness of the dangers of hurricanes?" Something like 69% said "yes." Are you kidding me? There are 69% of you who don't know hurricanes are ferocious and dangerous? *shakes head*

And there's more news that says GWB's job approval rating has gone up. Huh? How can it go up in a campaign season? He hasn't been doing anything but stumping and telling you a bunch of bullshit while the economy continues to spiral out of control and, just today, there was a suicide bombing in the Iraqi capitol. Does that sound like the success of a man who's doing his job? You people are out of your fucking minds.

On top of that, there are conflicting polls about the election. In one, Bush leads by 13 points. In another, it has Bush and Kerry in a dead heat.

Again, I say to you, how can there possibly be a dead heat? How can you support this man? How can he possibly be leading? Are you that afraid? Are you that full of blind faith that he's going to take care of you? Because I have news for you, people, the only thing he gives a shit about is getting himself and his corporate cronies re-elected. And for you religious nuts, a vote for Bush is just about the most non-Christian thing you can do. He has absolutely no sense of gravity. If he did, his record in Texas on how many he's sent to the chair wouldn't be so large. You don't have to look far for the news, folks ... it's all right there. Look at the alternative sources, check out the BBC if you're worried about dealing with some leftist cranks. Then take what you find and weigh it up against what comes out of his mouth.
