I happen to believe this is true, photo evidence be damned. The guy clearly states that the picture was snapped in a hurry and was not meant to be conclusive evidence. And I gather that he posted the story before he suddenly became an LJ supah-star so it's unlikely that he would have gone out of his way to make this up.
What's best about all of this, however, is how vehemently the Right Wing moles flocked around him anonymously to tear down his claims.
That pointless waste of time we know as the ban on same-sex marriage was defeated today in the Senate.
This pleases me greatly -- the Republicans are fisting far too deep into our personal lives.
Let us hope that the Patriot Act is similarly dissolved as it is up for renewal soon.
Most of the laws in this country have to do with a moral code, but when they are restraining people from pursuing life, liberty, and a pursuit of happiness then that is a dark day indeed.
I have to tell you, I am starting to believe that Kerry/Edwards have a shot at this thing.
One thing I am sure of, however, is that if Bush is re-elected, than Democracy as we know it will be forever redefined. They got their foot in the door on the last election, but their stranglehold on the system is not yet complete. They are sick men, however, with devious intentions. They must be stopped. The very bedrock of America is at stake.
Does that sound melodramatic? Well, it is. The shit is very serious.
I read somewhere that someone said bush wasn't concerned at all with what was going on domestically, that he was only focused on his foreign policy. What foreign policy? The whole world fucking hates us or is afraid of us. That, in my opinion, is not a diplomatic success. The only thing Bush is concerned with is the policy of pleasing the men around him. This administration is as corrupt as Nixon's and, I say again, they must be stopped before it is too late. -- In other news: the UK reports on Iraqi WMD is also "seriously flawed." Coincidence or conspiracy? Take a wild fucking guess.

It's kind of old, but I realized today that it's a shame that it's just sitting around waiting for the money-fairy to show up to make it a viable production.
