From CNN:
"It is often implicitly assumed that using cannabis changes your brain or makes you crave other drugs," said lead researcher Michael Lynskey, "but there are a number of other potential mechanisms, including access to drugs, willingness to break the law and likelihood of engaging in risk-taking behavior."
Hmmm, yeah . . . hmmm . . . . How about this: smoking Marijuana feels good. Normal human psychology very naturally assumes that other types of "drugs" might "feel good" too. People will break the law for anything they want, that's not genre specific. How about this, though, we get over the stigma of all this fucking bullshit like what's "normal" or what drugs are okay to be legal because they come in a fucking pill so your mom doesn't have to be so embarrassed or shamed to have to light up in front of the neighbors. As far as this whole fuckin' retarded "gateway drug" issue, fuck you. People are curious. period. One experience leads to another, one inspiration leads to another path. Fuck you and all your linear thinking that the human psyche can just be painted into these little boxes of black and white, right and wrong, good and evil.
I want to live, goddamnit . . . I want to live.
